I had recently learned the Yuen Method just from reading the book and while it seems to eliminate problems in adults, it works miraculously on toddlers, providing faster results with no effort expended whatsoever by the person using the method. My two and a half year old daughter was in the midst of a full-blown temper tantrum when I decided to give Dr. Yuen's technique a try. In less than three minutes my daughter stood up and said, "It's gone." I was amazed that she was able to verbalize her awareness that a change had occurred. Her temper tantrum had instantly stopped and the episodes have not returned in the two week period that followed. It's as if some switch had been turned off in her brain and an alternate one turned on. Read on for my daughter's tantrum history and for what my friend revealed to me as being "the secret to making the Yuen Method work.My darling daughter suddenly turned two and a half and her agreeable nature vanished on the spot. She always wanted whatever her older sister was playing with. Now, however all-out tantrums began, even before her sister had a chance to shareThis behavior soon progressed to include not only situations where she didn't get her way, but it seemed that frequently something we said or did would set her off for no apparent reason. Her congenial personality had mutated into one that was hostile and unreceptive to any and all attempts at soothing or comforting her. Of course, we knew this was just a "normal" stage that would pass and there are countless suggestions out there on handling temper tantrums. Nonetheless, this behavior can still make life miserable, and even it's for a short-lived period of time, it seems more like an eternity when you're going through it. I would really like to put this book in the hands of every parent who has a toddler.I was introduced to the Yuen Method when a friend of mine, who had taken several seminars, worked on me for acid reflux one evening when he as over for dinner and I began suffering. This was six months ago and the problem hasn't recurred. When the recent book came out he called, insisting I buy it. I had never done "healing" and had never even heard of energy work and frankly didn't put a lot of stock in it, despite my intermittent episodes with acid reflux having disappeared. To appease him, I bought and read the book, listening to the accompanying videos.Although the book was well-written and the system sounded as though it might possibly work, I had no confidence that that I would be successful using it. When I related my feelings to my friend he advised me to try it just once saying the secret to obtaining results was, "Just look at the charts and do it. Do not think about or mentally question what you are doing. When you find an underlying cause, never stop and second-guess your finding, go ahead and delete it. Don't stop for even a mini-second and doubt how or why the deletion works. Find the next cause as quickly as you can and so on. Really. it's as if you're on automatic pilot."The first time I tried it was with my daughter, feeling desperate and that I had nothing to lose. I have never been more shocked than by the results. I have used the method half-a-dozen times successfully since, four times with toddlers and twice on adults and I can vouch for the fact that toddlers respond in a way that I can only describe as miraculous, while adults' problems take longer to solve and their response I would describe as surprising.The first time I tried it was out of desperation with my daughter, thinking I had nothing to loseIr tantrum history for interested parents.

With your new found skill of using intuition to find answers - "feeling" for strong/weak, even beginners can now identify and strengthen / clear the energetic weaknesses that are roots of symptoms.BASIC STEPSGetting rid of symptoms with Yuen Method is abouta) being neutral (to allow energetic "support" for something to *actually* change)b) identifying a weakness (only things that *weaken* our energy affect us)c) strengthening yourself to the weaknessd) deleting the weakness and the effectsDr. Yuen and Marnie put you in charge of your own health by giving you these simple but powerful tools.BOOK CRITIQUE- This book could be tighter and jumps around a lot - "midline" isn't mentioned until page 62 (though it's mentioned in the videos).- Neutrality triad (as a pre-step) in video is redefined as a different one (pentagon) in book(experienced Yuen people would understand the distinction, new readers may not)- There is a list of shapes in the back; with "Pre-Steps", "Find Weakness", some lists of physical elements to scan - then the book ends. It would help to include a step of "what to do next" (if you sense no change or shift, etc).... (i.e. other elements of "perception" to clear to be aware of the change, how to continue in a recursive way. Some hints => [...] ).There is a lot to like here about the expanded materials and detailed descriptions in this book.SIMPLE, NEW WAY TO EXAMINE OUR ENERGYYuen Method shows us a new way to process information; to view ourselves and our world in a more realistic and pragmatic way - based on - not what we *think* - but only at the *energy* of a situation - the way things really work. I read the entire book and I understood very little from when I started. The knowledge is good, but no clear steps are given. I had re-read the book and I recommend not using Amazon's Word Runner. However, even after reading the book twice I didn't get the information I needed. Therefore I looked it up and YouTube where Dr. Yuen walked me through it. By combing the two I finally get it.
For me, this is the clearest description of the Yuen Method of treating any type of "pain".I read the whole book in one day, with my interest in it alive until the last page.For the first time in my life, and when I had read almost 3/4 of the book, I felt able to apply the method. Until then, I had read other books by Dr. Yuen and attended online seminars by him or his students; it all sounded very simple, reasonable and applicable, but at some point it became complicated in some sense, and I have never given myself time to study the material systematically.This little book also became somehow complicated in its last part. By "complicated" I mean "too many things to remember to think about". However, this time I was left with a feeling that a review and more systematic study of this book would be comfortable enough for me to do it very soon - it is now only a few days since I bought the book, and it is reasonable that I do not remember everything after a single quick reading.I am giving it four stars, until I feel I have integrated the last part and started using the method on myself with results.Even if I do not succeed in this, I repeat that this little book offers a remarkably clear description of the method.
