Beautiful, just what I wanted...loads of lovely pictures. So far have done burgers (just like my grandma's tasted), steaks and some veggies. It's beginning to look shiny and properly seasoned so will be trying some recipes soon...it will be hard to choose but I want to try cornbread or scones, first...stay tuned!

Wonderful skillet meal ideas. I have a friend who loves cast iron cooking. He's even a member of a club. I bought this as a gift for him and he was ecstatic to receive it.

For a book with such a small amount of recipes separated by breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc., there should be much better recipes in a published cookbook. I would not recommend this book.

This was a gift for my granddaughter who loves it.

still exploring but looks inviting

This book has wonderful ideas but you need to be an experienced cook to use it as there are a few mistakes. I would not recommend this book for a beginner. For example on page 196 there is a recipe for pepperoni bread: It calls for 1 oz of active dry yeast: 1 oz of active dry yeast = a little over 3 tablespoons of yeast! This is way too much all you need is 2 1/4 teaspoons which is 1 packet of active dry yeast. I made this bread bringing the yeast to 2 teaspoons and put 1 tablespoon of olive oil in the dough. I would also recomend sprinkling the pan with course corn meal after greasing before you put your dough in. This makes it much easier to get the bread out.
