I'm not a big fan of snakes but my 5 year old son loves them. He's also learning to read and he's enjoyed his other National Geographic Kids books so it was an easy decision to purchase this book. Snakes was a very vivid and informative book. There are a lot of bright colors, interesting facts, and new vocabulary words. This was another great edition to our collection.

4 year old grandson loves this book, now he knows all the snake names, which are poisonous and which are not. Very informative snake book.

Love National geographic books. Very easy to read and look at for the kiddos. Learning is key in our household! We have several National Geographic books on the shelves in our home!

Good small book for kids that love snakes and short attention span. Good for car rides.

My 6-year old grandson is really afraid of snakes. Using "knowledge is power", thinking, I bought him this book. He loves it, and his 8 year old brother may love it a little more!. It is a hit. So far it seems to be helping. Very satisfied with this purchase, and I would recommend it for appropriate age groups
