Jim Arthur Van Wyck teaches you what most books will not teach you, how to achieve great content. I found this book looking for a book that would tell me what to put in my page. Most books on Facebook, some of them excellent, gave me marketing techniques, but not a single book until now, with the exception of this one told me how to write and create content for my page. This book taught me what I knew was true about writing. If what makes a great book is great content, the same is true for Facebook. The path to Facebook success is in high quality content, and this book tells you exactly how to achieve it.
I just finished reading "Get More Likes" and was blown away by the large amount of information Jim was able to put in such a compact book. Most authors spend far too much time trying to prove to the world how smart they are by big words and long chapters. Frankly, I prefer "meat" to "mashed potatoes" and Jim succeeds by by passing the fluffy stuff and jumps right into the important things I needed to know to make my Facebook Fan Page move into high gear.But don't get me wrong, although I finished reading it in one sitting, it isn't a book that you just read once and put away. Think of it as something you want to keep on your desktop and refer back to often. A lot of his tips may seem simple or easy when you read them, but I figured if they were THAT simple I would have thought of them myself and I certainly didn't. But just like a good restaurant, Jim serves up just what the reader needs and plenty of it. I just wish he would write a comprehensive Facebook Book. Talk about a challenge!Oh, and for the record, I do have one small concern. I am visually handicapped and appreciated the larger font the book was written in, but the only thing I would ask is if another edition comes out could the excepts from the Facebook Fan Pages you used be blown up just a bit, so I don't have to squint so much. Thanks. It would be appreciated. ;)

Most of the tips are simple and easy to implement. Some of them are so simple that you'll be slapping your forehead and asking, "Why didn't I think of that?"Jim has kept pace with the frantic delivery of changes at Facebook, so his advice is really cutting-edge--including using Facebook's new ability to schedule posts in advance. That one tip was worth the price of the book, but there are lots more like it, and some that are much better.I don't want you to be competing with me using Jim's tips, so don't get this book.

The book is great value. I highly recommend it.
